A good option for organic wedding favors are a plant bulbs that the guests can plant and watch grow. Tulips, daffodils, crocus and many other bulbs will bloom each spring time and are beautiful and recurring reminders of your special day.

If it is not the right season for giving bulbs, you can give small potted plants that can be kept indoors. The bride and groom can grow the plants then give them to their guests or they can buy them already grown. For an organic wedding favor the plant should be one that is fairly easy to grow so people without a green thumb can grow the plant.

You should choose seeds that are easily grown in the area the guests are living so that they have a better chance of success.

If the couple is really involved with the environment you might consider giving seedlings to each guest that attends. If they choose a tree seedling then they can go out and plant a tree on behalf of the bride and groom in a park, school, or any other public place. It would be even better if you could plant it somewhere that the family typically gathers, as this is going to symbolize the marriage and the love formed with your family and friends.
